Since diving deeper into graphic design, I’ve often created random little designs—sometimes for myself, but more often to crack up my friends. These are small, fun projects, where the stakes are low, and the joy is high.

Here’s a short selection of works from 2024, each with its own little story:

• Magzikook: An animated artist portrait for my friend Maxikook, who recently started DJing.

• La Barre Muscle Up: A fake Google Maps page for a gangster gym club in La Barre, Anglet. Think hardcore vibes, local pride, and just the right amount of ridiculousness to make my friends laugh.

• Royal Kookfield: A playful rework of the Royal Enfield logo for Maxikook and his Himalayan bike.

• Combat card: A nod to my friend Ben, who always yells “Cooooombat” whenever poker gets heated.

• Surfers of Biarritz: Two simple illustrations picturing the @SurfersofBiarritz Instagram account, owned by my friend Lotfi.

• Hot Localzzz: A Hot Wheels-inspired take on localism.

• Colors of Working: A coworking-themed twist on the Colors of Surfing logo, for our shared workspace at home.

• Local Pigs Only, bass, Yeti bottle, and chair: My very first attempts at illustration in Illustrator.

• Slow & Frugal: A Christmas gift for my friend Timothée Parrique, an economist specializing in degrowth.

These designs might not always be perfect, but they’re all about having fun, experimenting, and learning along the way.
